Capesthorne Hall Half Marathon 2014

Welcome to the Capesthorne Hall Half Marathon, our second Half Marathon offering this year, replacing the Cheshire Half Marathon. This course is set on the grounds of the stunning Capesthorne Hall, showcasing some of the best scenery Cheshire has to offer.

The event takes place in the grounds of Capesthorne Hall, where we currently run a triathlon event. a distinctive Jacobean style house with its Georgian Chapel and delightful gardens and lakes, set in over 100 acres of parkland. The park is very family orientated and you can visit the house which is within short walking distance from the event.

Capesthorne Half Marathon as been merged with the Arley Half Marathon which will take place on the 19th October 2014 – here is the link to enter the autumn half marathon

Getting to Capesthorne Hall

From the South M6 junction 17: Leave the motorway at junction 17 Congleton follow the route to Macclesfield and Alderley Edge. Pass through Congleton for several miles and Capesthorne is well signposted on your left before you come to the Monksheath traffic lights.

From the North M6 junction 18: Follow the exit for Holmes Chapel. Pass through Holmes Chapel following directions to Alderley Edge. When you reach Chelford you must turn right at a roundabout signposted Maccelsfield. At the next traffic lights turn right signposted Capesthorne which is on your right after 1-2 miles.
